Chicken feet a sign your house is being targeted

Chicken feet no longer used for consumption only.

A local resident informed the Herald that recently, her daughter discovered a chicken foot attached to their gate.

The daughter discovered this after coming back from school, where she immediately contacted her mother and sent her the photo.

The resident then sent the photo to a member of the Community Police Forum (CPF), who confirmed that her house is being targeted by criminals.

The CPF also gave her this additional information regarding the chicken feet markers.

When your house is marked by chicken feet, the criminals then knows:

1. Your children is home alone

2. You and your family are easy targets

3. There is easy access to your house.

4. There are no alarms

5. The resident is a single female occupant.

The resident, who choose to remain anonymous, is already busy installing an alarm and warned that everybody should stay alert to these strange markers and to inform the CPF of such activities.

Although it is a serious threat to residents in the community she jokingly said she is now just looking for a man to serve the purpose of protecting her.
