W’aria police to have business forum meeting
Meeting as a result of increase in shoplifting.
The Westonaria Police are inviting members of the community who are involved in the business sector for a business forum meeting.
Colonel Selvan Moonsammy would like to inform all businesses in Westonaria, Venterspost, Lebanon, Jachtfontein, Hillshaven, Glenharvie and the general Westonaria to attend the business forum meeting on Tuesday (19 May) at 12pm at the Westonaria police station.
The meeting comes after an increase in shoplifting around businesses in Westonaria.
“We warn the community that the businesses in Westonaria have a zero tolerance for shoplifting irrespective of the value of the property. You will be arrested and taken to court The majority of businesses have cameras,” Colonel Moonsammy warns.
“Once you have a conviction, this will affect your future. You will be restiricted because of your criminal record.”
