26-year-old killed in collision
Young man killed as car overturns; "two other occupants found walking around scene".
A 26-year-old man was killed when the vehicle he was traveling in overturned on the R500 between Greenspark and Fochville on Friday.
According to ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak “Shortly after 10pm paramedics arrived on the scene where they found a vehicle in the nearby veld.
“Two people were found walking around on the scene with no apparent injuries. However, they pointed to the vehicle where paramedics found the 26-year-old. He had no signs of life and paramedics initiated CPR.
“Sadly paramedics could not revive him and he was later declared dead on the scene.
“The exact cause of the incident is not yet known. The two occupants that were walking around on the scene declined to be transported to hospital.
“The incident was handed over to the local authorities for investigation.”
