Unemployment survey to create jobs
Know someone who's unemployed? Tell them to participate in the survey.
DA ward councillor Sina Erasmus is conducting an unemployment survey for all residents living in ward 4 which includes Randgate and part of Wilbotsdal ending at Johanna Street.
The survey according to Erasmus aims to determine the amount of unemployed residents in the area. The information gathered will then be sent to the Randfontein Council to demonstrate the percentage of unemployment in Randfontein.
These people who participated in the survey will then act as a pool for the municipality to recruit unemployed residents for municipal projects.
“A number of people have already given the information already. We’re just waiting for more to come in now,” Erasmus said.
How to participate:
• Bring a copy of identification document
• Give all your contact details and address
• Take above documents and information to Roy Harris Estates in Union Street, Randgate
