Eskom would like to inform the public there will be no load shedding for the first part of Wednesday 29 April as there is currently enough electricity generating capacity to meet demand.
The power system is stable at present but is expected to be constrained during the evening peak period (5pm to 9pm). Eskom will keep you updated on the state of the power system and advise the public accordingly should the need to load shed in the evening arise.
The electricity giant also would like to thank electricity users for responding to their message to save.
