191 Arrests made in one week

The Krugersdorp police cluster which now includes Randfontein had a number of successes during this past week (20 to 26 April).

A total number of 191 arrests were made in the areas Kagiso, Randfontein, Hekpoort and Magaliesburg.

One of the successes includes the arrest of four house robbery suspects who targeted a house in Randfontein. The victim, an 80-year-old woman was tied up but according to police was not physically harmed during the robbery. Due to intensive investigation by the Randfontein police, the suspects were eventually arrested.

Cluster Commander, Maj Genl A Mateisi assures residents falling under the Krugersdorp Cluster that suspects in the area will be brought to book for their crimes.
