A woman was injured following an accident at an intersection in Krugersdorp on the West Rand on Thursday.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson “Paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a light delivery vehicle and motor vehicle were involved in a side impact collision. Both vehicles came to a standstill right in the middle of the intersection.
“Upon assessment of all the occupants, paramedics found that a woman sustained serious injuries during the crash. The woman was treated at the scene, placed on a trauma board and transported to hospital for further medical care.
“Exact detail surrounding the cause of the side impact crash and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.”
