Crèche spoils disability centre

Easter came twice this year for Connie Mulder Centre.

Melktandjies Crèche took a day off from crayon drawing to spoil residents of the Connie Mulder Centre.

On Wednesday (16 April) the children lined up to get Easter eggs with a special message attached to hand out at the Connie Mulder Dining Hall.

There were smiles all around. Children hopped and skipped to gave residents an Easter egg at which the residents responded with hugs and gasps of excitement.

After the sweets were handed out, the children sang a special song. To their surprise the residents of the Centre sang a song for them as well.

Although the special event was held after Easter, it certainly was Easter for the people at the Centre.
