Azaadville tragedy: Funeral confirmed
The sadness continues in Azaadville as it is now time to cremate the deceased.
The funeral of the late grandfather and grandson will be held today from 11am to 12pm.
Police confirmed the cause of their deaths is as a result of the grandfather burning himself and his grandson alive in a car on Wednesday (8 April). The funeral will be held at Seva Samaj Hall on the corner of Taj Mahal and Kismet Street in Azaadville.
“The bodies will lay in state from 11am to 12pm,” said Zaheer Gangat, Chairperson for the Randfontein CPF Executive Committee.
He adds that the funeral will depart at 12pm from the Seva Samaj Hall to the Lenasia Crematorium.
