Police confirm Easter Sunday shooting

'They fled the scene and no arrests have been made' — Police.

Police have confirmed that a 48-year-old man was shot dead in a house robbery in the early hours of Easter Sunday.

In addition to the man that was shot dead, there was another injury.

“The occupants of the house were overpowered by four unknown suspects. Electrical appliances were taken. Suspects gained entry through a window they forced open. They fled the scene and no arrests have been made,” says Hitler Ngwenya, Spokesperson for the Krugersdorp Police Cluster.
