The Mozambican national believed to have been beaten to death was found by the Randfontein Police to have survived.
The herald was misinformed by a source regarding the alleged death of the Mozambican man. Captain Appel Ernst, spokesperson for the Randfontein Police searched far and wide for the body of the man when she discovered that he was not dead.
Ernst confirmed the man was alive but unconscious. Furthermore, police are investigating a case of assault GBH.
