RHS dominates dialogues

Randfontein High School chosen as one of five schools to participate in dialogues at Gauteng Legislature.

Randfontein High School (RHS) participated in a dialogue at the Gauteng Legislature and Randfontein pupils dominated discussions said Jason Fischer, spokesperson for RHS.

RHS was one of five schools chosen to participate. The other four schools were TM Letlhake Secondary School, Midrand High School and Forte Secondary School.

The theme of the dialogue was, “Who is to blame for our politics?” Pupils’ responses ranged from economics to teenage pregnancies.

One of the pupils who participated said, “It was a good experience. We are quite used to these kinds of topics because we engage with it at school.”

Design pupils also sat in and listened to the responses to the theme question.

They will create a mural that will represent all that was discussed, which should be completed by 14 March.
