Security officer killed in crash

Two others injured as vehicle allegedly rolls.

A security officer was killed and two passengers injured when the vehicle they were travelling in rolled and crashed on the R559 on Friday.

The herald was informed on scene the vehicle belonged to a security and protection company. The man had two passengers who were taken to hospital, however, the man was declared dead by authorities on scene.

Although the matter is under investigation it is believed the bakkie rolled metres after the driver had lost control. The immediate area around the bakkie was cordoned off.
