Seven arrests for stolen property

‘If you are found in possession of stolen property, an arrest will be imminent.'

Randfontein police managed to make seven arrests recently for possession of stolen property.

According to Captain Appel Ernst, Randfontein police spokesperson, “The breakthrough was made when police members were conducting a routine stop-and-search operation in the Randfontein area.

“They recovered and confiscated numerous stolen items, which were identified positively by the owners. The suspects are aged between 22 and 40 years. They appeared in the Randfontein Magistrates’ Court recently and are in custody awaiting their bail hearings.

“If you are found in possession of stolen property, an arrest will be imminent. It is also a crime to buy stolen property.”
