'Both apparently tried to cross the road but failed to notice an oncoming vehicle' - ER24

Two pedestrians were left in a serious condition after they were knocked down on Main Reef Road at the Randfontein Extension in Dobsonville on Saturday.

According to ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak, “Paramedics that arrived on the scene found the two pedestrians lying a few meters away from the vehicle with multiple fractures and possible head injuries.

“Both pedestrians, believed to be in their early twenties, sustained injuries when they apparently tried to cross the road and failed to notice an oncoming vehicle.
