Mimshak preschoolers leave with a bang

A volcano of shutters and a flare of flashes erupted during the preschool graduation at Mimshak Talent Pool.

Mimshak Talent Pool preschool pulled off a beautiful graduation even when the area underwent load shedding.

Children performed a variety of acts before the actual graduation. First on the program, children recited some of South Africa’s children’s rights. They giggled, sang and shouted out children’s rights in South Africa.
After the children did the children’s rights, they performed a brief but beautiful nativity play that involved the first costume change of the day.
Next, the children appeared in full formal wear with little shoes, bow ties and gloves. They walked down the aisle hand in hand while performing a little jig towards the stage. They then performed a number of songs in their formal outfits where they acted out the lyrics to the songs that were played.
Towards the end of the afternoon and with the last costume change of the day, the preschoolers finally appeared in their graduation gowns and hats and proceeded to sit on stage.
The children were called one by one by the principal of the preschool. Each of the children received a sash on the stage after which they received a certificate to say that they are now ready and able to go to big school.
Proud parents clapped at their children on the stage and a volcano of shutters erupted along with a flare of flashes at their little ones growing up and being ready for big school.
