A woman is in a critical condition following a pedestrian accident in Kagiso near Randfontein on Friday.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson, Santi Steinmann, “Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a woman in a critical condition lying on the roadway after she was knocked over by a minibus. At this stage it is still unclear if the woman was trying to cross the road when the accident took place.
“The woman was treated on scene, placed on a trauma board and transported to hospital for further medical care.
“Exact detail surrounding the cause of the pedestrian accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.”
