Today marks one year since the passing of Nelson Mandela, the first democratically elected President.
Mandela died at the age of 95 at his home in Houghton, Johannesburg on 5 December 2013.
To commerate the first anniversay of his passing, a ceremony will take place in three sessions at Freedom Park and Union Buildings in Pretoria throughout Friday.
Members of the public are requested to wear their favourite Mandela print T-shirts as a way of remembering his life.
