Electricity restored to Greenhills

Electricity has finally been restored to Greenhills and in the process, Kenneth Road received a preventative tree felling.

After a day of tree cutting and power line fixing, municipal workers stayed true to their word about the electricity being restored by the end of the day.

Before the electricity was restored, Greenhills residents experienced on and off power surges after which the electricity was finally restored around 4pm.

Other than the tree that fell, another tree’s branches were cut to fix the current damage and to prevent future incidents.

The trunk of the fallen tree is currently still outside the house where it fell as well as the branches of the other tree that was cut.
