Two killed, four injured in three vehicle collision

Two people have died and four others were injured, one critically so, after three vehicles collided on the N12 about 30 km from Potchefstroom over the weekend.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson, Chris Botha “Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found some of the injured still trapped in the wreckage of their vehicle.
“After treating the injured it was found that two people had tragically died before our arrival due to the extensive injuries that they sustained, one person was critically injured while three others escaped with injuries ranging from serious to minor.
“After the patients were stabilised at the scene paramedics transported them to various hospitals in the area for the care that they required.
“Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.”
