Dancers bring the heat

More than 300 dancers from Rhythm in Us Dance Studio showed their skills during Annual Showcase.

More than 300 dancers from Randfontein and Krugersdorp streamed to Maragon Private Schools to take part in the annual Rhythm in Us Dance Studio showcase.

According to the owner of the studio, Louis de Nobrega the event took place on 10 and 11 October when the participants had the opportunity to show the skills they’ve developed over the year.

“The event, Rhythm through the ages was a great success and more than 700 spectators came out to support our dancers,” says De Nobrega.

Dancers showed their skill in dancing styles such as Latin, ballroom, hip-hop and contemporary dance among others. De Nobrega adds that a lot of the participants took part in more than one dance style.

“The students worked extremely hard to ensure the success of the event and set the stage alight with their passionate dance routines,” says De Nobrega.

He adds that the studio’s final event for the year will be their honours evening that will take place on 15 November at Silverstar Casino.

“We are very excited about the honours evening. We hope to see more great dancing action during this event and end the year on a high note,” De Nobrega concludes.
