Residents arrived at the Greenhills Stadium in large numbers this past weekend to celebrate those who have beaten the disease, still living with it as well as remember those who lost the battle.
This year’s Cansa Relay for Life took place on Friday 26 September from 6pm to 6am on Saturday 27 September.
The purpose of the relay was to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those who died owing to the deadly disease and to honour those who are fighting it.
