A teenager sustained critical injuries after his motorcycle crashed into his friend’s while they were riding in a convoy on Losberg Lane near Fochville in the West of Johannesburg over the weekend.
According to ER24 the 15-year-old boy was assessed and discovered to have sustained suspected spinal injuries and other open wounds on his limbs.
He was airlifted by an ER24 helicopter to Flora Clinic for urgent medical treatment.
His teenage passenger and the two occupants of the first motorcycle sustained minor injuries in the collision.
The collision is under investigation.
