Ranfontein herald not for sale

Caxton employee tries to make a quick buck.

Residents of Randfontein, Westonaria and other parts of the West Rand are urged not to buy the Randfontein herald, as it is distributed free of charge.

It recently was revealed that a delivery man affiliated to Caxton is trying to make a quick buck by selling the free community newspaper for R1 or R2 a copy.

A woman lodged a complaint with the herald. She said that a man refused to give her the free community newspaper and demanded money in return this past Tuesday (16 September).

Newspaper: It recently came to light that the Randfontein herald is being sold illegally in Randfontein.

Residents are urged not to buy the free community newspaper as it is not for sale.

A complaint was lodged by one of our readers who said that a delivery man affiliated to Caxton refused to give her the free newspaper and demanded money for a copy.

This was last week Tuesday (16 September) near the Randfontein Taxi Rank. Residents are warned to be aware of people trying to make a quick buck.
