Man stabbed to death at local shebeen

Police to look into another murder at shebeen in Zenzele.

Randfontein Police has launched an investigation into a murder at a local shebeen.

Randfontein Police spokesperson Captain Appel Ernst says, “A 26-year-old man was stabbed with a sharp object at a shebeen in the Zenzele informal settlement. 

“It is believed that the deceased was with a friend when a fight broke out. It currently is unknown what exactly happened but it is alleged that a group of men are responsible for the attack.

“The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died.”
