New date for membership workshop

"Workshop a tool to help business owners and managers to cope with modern-day challenges" — RPA

The Randfontein Publicity Association (RPA) announced the new date for the Management Workshop scheduled for late September.

“We will be hosting an Interactive Management Workshop for our members at the Randfontein Golf Club on Tuesday 30 September from 8am to 2pm,” RPA spokesperson Joy Hamann confirmed.

“We are interested in the welfare of RPA members and this is why we want to help them sustain and grow their businesses.”

“One of the RPA’s aims is to build a strong West Rand Business Community and we do this by offering members monthly networking functions, online advertising and promotions. This workshop is just another tool to help business owners and managers cope with modern-day challenges,” says Joy.

The programme will run as follows:

• 8am to 9am: Arrival and registration

• 9am to 11am: How to survive a recession

How to ensure sustainable growth

Using social media as a marketing tool

The sensible budgeting process

• 11am to 11.30am: Tea/coffee

• 11.30am to 1pm: Accounting in a nutshell

How to ensure a positive cash flow

• 1pm to 2pm: Lunch

At the end of the day, if time permits, there will be an opportunity for questions.

“We negotiated a special price for the workshop and want to pass this discount on to our members,” says Joy.

“However, we also want to make this valuable training available to non-members; bookings are open to all West Rand business owners or managers and their staff. Members will pay R280 each and non-members R350 each. This includes tea, coffee, muffins and a light lunch.”

“Come and learn how to face challenges head-on with facilitator Jan Coetzee from Makarios Training and Development. Network, meet new people and equip yourself with the tools to develop your business,” says Joy.

Anyone interested in attending the management workshop can contact Joy on 011 412 2878/1562 or 082 852 1860 or send an email to joy@randfonteininfo.co.za. Bookings close on Thursday 26 September. Space is limited and booking is essential.
