Grandparents had fun at daycare centre

"This is the most fun some of them had in a while."

Grandparents had the time of their lives when they were invited to a fun day at the Heidi en Peter Daycare Centre in Greenhills this past weekend.

According to owner of the daycare Rochelle de Beer more than 10 grandparents flocked to the event to spend time with their grandchildren and watch them play.

“The purpose of the event was to have children interact with their grandparents and show them what exactly they get up to at school. The outcome of the event was really awesome and I’m glad we had so many grandparents attending,” De Beer says.

“Some of the grandparents had so much fun they even brought their friends along,” she continued.

To entertain their grandparents the children put together a performance during which they played musical instruments and sang songs. Some of the children were quick to grab their grandparents by the hand and drag them to the swings and the jumping castle for a bit of fun and some exercise.

“This is the most fun some of the grandparents have had in a while.”
