Madiba Day: Ocean Basket spends 67 minutes with the elderly
Elderly residents of Randpoorttuiste receive a meal each.
The management of Ocean Basket spent their 67 minutes of Madiba Day handing out 67 meals to the elderly living at Randpoorttuiste in Randgate.
According to a representative from Ocean Basket Randfontein, Ruan Croukamp, they decided as a branch to give back to the elderly of Randfontein.
“We handed out 67 meals to the 67 residents of Randpoorttuiste. The event was a staggering success and to see the gratitude on these people’s faces was really rewarding,” says Croukamp.
“As a new business in town, this was surely the best way we could have spent our 67 minutes of Madiba Day.”
