Police launch man hunt of suspect who raped girl (15).
The Randfontein police have launched a massive man hunt after a 15-year-old girl was raped in the streets of Mohlakeng some time ago.
According to Randfontein police spokesperson Appel Ernst two men were involved. The victim managed to only identify one of her attackers.
“The incident occurred in a secluded area and fortunately, the girl was able to assist us in compiling an Identikit of one of the suspects. That is what we are working on now,” Ernst said.
“I cannot reveal too much information with regard to the incident but I can confirm that we have been looking for the man for some time now,” Ernst continued.
The victim described one of the attackers (in picture) as wearing a blue jersey with black trousers. He is believed to be between the ages of 20 and 25 and was speaking Xhosa and Zulu at the time of the incident.
“Anyone who might have any information about the suspect’s whereabouts based on the identity kit is urged to contact the investigating officer into the case Patricia Leballo on 011 951 1729,” Ernst said.
