An argument between a woman and her boyfriend turned tragic and resulted in him burning down their communal home in Toekomsrus recently
According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson Appel Ernst, prior to the incident, the man turned violent and damaged their home.
“Shortly after this, the woman went to visit a family friend for safety.
“She made the shocking discovery when she returned home the following day at approximately 2.30am,” says Ernst.
She adds that the man was traced and arrested and was charged accordingly
He appeared at the Randfontein Magistrates’ Court shortly thereafter and the police are investigating the case.
