RCA hosts garden day

After moving into their new school building, Randfontein Christian Academy takes the time to upgrade and beautify their gardens.

Pupils, parents and teachers from Randfontein Christian Academy (RCA) took the time to beautify their new school premises by planting various flowers, plants and mounting all sorts of decorative pieces all over the school.

According to the principal of RCA, Retha Maré, the parents, pupils and teachers came together on 31 May to host their first Garden Day at RCA.

“Everyone brought along various plants, compost, decorative articles and gardening utilities and started to beautify our premises,” says Maré.

She adds that the day was great fun and everyone present enjoyed it.

Seeing that the Garden Day was such a great success, RCA will host this event every first weekend of the month.

“By doing this, all our pupils, parents and staff members will help us make our premises beautiful,” says Maré.

She also thanks each and every person who took part in this event and states that with their help, the RCA premises will soon be a wonderland of flowers and beautiful gardens.
