Randfontein Primary School recently hosted a netball tournament with a twist.
Teachers at the school decided to make things interesting for the children by forming a netball team of their own.
According to the school’s principal Greg Boatard, the purpose of the sporting event was to have fun with their pupils while training them for their different winter sports.
“We decided to have our teachers play against the pupils as a training session.
“The point of this was to make sure that we give them tough competition and that they are prepared for their winter sport activities,” says Boatard.
The children and teachers had a whale of a time on the day.
