FJL Wells welcomes new music teacher

FJL Wells Music School is proud to welcome Isaac Mekgue as the new music teacher to this prestigious school

Isaac Mekgue’s love and passion for music is one of the most valuable assets he has and he will put it to good use at the FJL Wells Music School.

According to Isaac, he started teaching at FJL Wells at the beginning of May.

“I especially enjoy teaching music theory as I have various interesting methods to make learning this subject fun,” says Isaac.

Aside from music theory, Isaac also teaches jazz piano, trumpet and clarinet.

Isaac explains that his love for music started at a young age and since then it was his mission to excel in every music programme possible.

“I started studying piano in 2002 at the Doorkay House in Johannesburg. I majored in jazz piano,” says Isaac.

Soon thereafter, Isaac enrolled at the South West Gauteng Collage in Dobsonville.

For the next three years, from 2003 until 2005, he studied music theory and again majored in jazz piano.

“I started my bachelors degree in practical music at the University of KZN at the beginning of 2006 and since then, music has become my life.

“I am honoured to be part of the FJL Wells team and I am sure that my work here will make a difference.

“I cannot wait to put all my methods to work,” says an elated Isaac
