Carryou gives local matriculants a head start

Carryou gives local matriculants the opportunity to further their studies and fulfill their career dreams.

Randfontein — Seven youngsters, six from the Elandsvlei informal settlement, have been given a kick-start on the road to achieving their career dreams.

This was made possible with money raised by US benefactor and friend of Carryou Ministry, Sue Heywood and her wonderful supporters in the United States.

The youngsters, who all matriculated last year, will complete a basic computer course, paid for by the US donors, at the end of May. Three times a week, a vehicle from Carryou Ministry collects the young people and takes them to PC Training (Pty) Ltd, an accredited training institution in Krugersdorp.

“It’s an added qualification they’ll be able to list on their CVs when they apply for jobs and a much needed break for each of these youngsters,” says Carryou Ministry General Manager, Reverend Lawrence Mabaso.
