Spur announces their winner

One child walked away with a jumping castle worth R3 800.

The San Pedro Spur in Greenhills hosted a successful colouring competition where one winner walked away with a jumping castle worth R3800.

More than 40 children under 14 entered the competition to try their luck, however, only 10 of them made it to the final draw.

Thato Morai (4) was announced as the winner and walked away with the amazing prize.

The competition was held at other Spur Steak Ranches outlets nationwide as well.

According to Randfontein Spur manager Zoleka Kayingana, the purpose of the competition was to allow their younger customers to have fun while enjoying their meals at the franchise.

“This initiative is really aimed at giving back to our communities.

“We really thought that this would be a fun and rewarding exercise for our little customers,” says Kayingana.

She adds those who did not win the competition were given a meal voucher for their efforts.

The herald spoke the winner’s mother Puleng Morai who was thrilled that her daughter walked away with the prize.

“I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am.

“My Thato may not compare to the famous painters of this world but she is definitely good at what she does,” says Morai.
