Turning Point of Hope seeks to help the elderly

There are a lot of organizations assisting the youth but they are not the only one's who are experiencing challenges in life.

The Turning Point of Hope Organisation is calling on adults throughout the West Rand who are experiencing challenges with unemployment, drug addiction or any other social ills to contact them for a helping hand.

This comes from founder and chairperson of the organisation Daniel Mthembu, who says that despite their mandate being helping orphans and troubled youths, they seek to broaden their focus to assist adults as well.

“Over the years we have been helping out the youth and there are many organisations that do this.

“However, they are not the only one’s who are experiencing challenges in life.

“We have now decided to absorb adults in our outreach programmes,” says Mthembu.

He adds that this will be done by offerring counseling, life coaching and anger management classes to those who need it, as well as by offering other means of help.

“We will be helping out where we can and if we can’t we will definitely refer people to places where we know they will be able to get help.

“What we want is not only a better youth but a better everybody, be they young or old,” says Mthembu
