RHS does it again

The bar has been raised and we need to stay at the top and only a good attitude towards education and hard work will keep us there.

Randfontein High School (RHS) has once again proven that they are the top school in the West Rand by achieving a 100 percent matric pass rate for the sixth consecutive year.

RHS is the only school on the entire West Rand that has been able to manage this.

The school, which boasts with a proud history and many local, provincial, national and even international achievements, has also been named as one of the top 12 performing schools in the Gauteng Province.

The RHS class of 2013 turned out in full force on 7 January to receive their official results and shouts of jubilation went up as excited pupils said a last good bye to their Alma Mater and their lives as school pupils.

According to the school’s public relations officer Jason Fischer, this is the feather in the cap of this proud school.

“It was by no means easy,” says Fischer.

“It took a lot of hard work and dedication not only from the pupils, but from the teachers as well.

“Our principal has done an amazing job at inspiring both teachers and pupils to go the extra mile to ensure the good name of this school and the readiness of our pupils for whatever the future may hold for them.

“We are extremely proud of our class of 2013,” says Fischer.

“They have worked hard and now they are reaping the rewards.”
