RHS boasts with great success in 2013

RHS humbles themselves with their great success during 2013 and wishes every pupil, teacher and community member a joyful festive season.

“At Randfontein High School every parent, pupil and staff member accomplished the impossible on the academic, sport and cultural field. When I look back, all I can see is your tenacity to continue without accepting second best.”

This the words of RHS principal, Marita Henning.

These accomplishments range from sport participation at National level and reaching astounding ASA scores to cultural activities that represented RHS locally, nationally and internationally.

“Your academic achievement has made RHS the leading school in Gauteng West.

“Our English, Afrikaans, Mathematics and Physical Sciences results have placed us in the top 50 schools in the country,” says Marita.

“This is not the result that the wave of a magic wand can accomplish, but the incredible synergy of both teachers and pupils that demand respect for learning and teaching.

“You are the ambassadors of the kind of glory that is unique to RHS and I am confident that this prestigious tradition will continue for many years to come.”

Marita adds that she is incredibly proud of all 1200 pupils, their teachers and governing body.

“You are formidable and a real force to be reckoned with. I wish you a much deserved period of rest and a prosperous, yet even more exciting, 2014.”
