Another case of a blocked municipal sewerage line has resident of Fir Street in Greenhills hot under the collar.
According to one frustrated resident Clive Coetzer, he together with other residents have had to live with this disaster for approximately four weeks now.
“Each one of us along this street has tried to contact the municipality to come and assist with this problem and to date, not a single person from the municipality has come out to the site.
“It has gotten to a point where we cannot let our children ride their bicycles in the streets and I don’t even want get started with the difficulties we have when cooking.
“We constantly have to leave our windows closed in fear of flies coming into our homes.
“It’s a health hazard and had they bothered to come check it out, they would know what we have to live with,” says Coetzer.
