Local Gospel duo star in all night prayer event

The duo, who recorded a CD last year, have been invited to many church services and festivals and are ready for a second album.

The Gospel duo of cousins, Ntsiki Khumalo and Jonki Ndlovu, together with other local gospel artists kept the fires burning at a recent all night worship service hosted at the Mountain of The Lord Apostolic Church in Mohlakeng.

The duo, who recorded a CD last year, have been invited to many church services and festivals and are ready for a second album.

“We have been going on tours and we were recently interviewed on Rainbow FM.

Our CD launch last year also received coverage in the Herald,” says Jonki.

“As concerned gospel artists, early this year we also performed together with Bangane Mbonma in another all night prayer entitled Turning Point.

This was in response to the Satanic incidents at a Mohlakeng high school.

“We were joined by the likes of Prophetess Nosi Mvo from Bosasa and Pastor Linda Mabona from Rainbow FM.”

Other acts who blessed the evening with song and worship included Lizo Steyn, Thabiso Mbulawa, Manna and Bambatha.

The duo also had the blessings from Bishop Sakie Nakedi the founder of Mountain of The Lord Apostolic Church.

Ntsiki, a devout Christian worshipper, is the wife to RLM Speaker Elias Mzi JKhumalo.
