A Randfontein man was arrested for allegedly repeatedly raping a female friend after forcing her into his home on 3 November.
According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson, Captain Appel Ernst, the pair were at a local tavern and the woman asked her male friend to escort her home as it was already after midnight.
They started walking to the woman’s home when the man suddenly grabbed her and dragged her to his place of residence.
The man then allegedly repeatedly raped the woman throughout the night.
“The 35-year-old suspect was arrested shortly after the case was opened,” says Ernst.
