Residents urged to keep safe this festive season

Now that we are heading towards the festive season, residents of Randfontein and Westonaria are urged to keep safe as crime traditionally escalates significantly over this period.

According to ADT Central Regions Managing Director Clive Humphreys ADT and other security companies will be on their toes this festive season assisting residents to keep themselves and their homes safe.

“Statistics indicate that crime increases significantly over the festive season and the months leading up to it.

“Owing to this, people need to guard against criminals and make sure that their homes and valuables are safe.”

“Prior to going away on holiday, residents need to make sure that their alarms are in good working order.

“Should one not have an alarm system, they can always tighten up their security measures by installing burglar bars and keeping their doors and windows closed and locked at all times.”
