Come join in the carols by candlelight

With Christmas almost in our midst, the Randfontein Publicity association, in partnership with Droogeheuwel Venue will host a Gospel Show and a Carols by Candlelight event at Droogeheuwel on 30 November.

According to the Publicity Officer at the Randfontein Publicity Association, Joy Hamann, this inisiative is in aid of Hospice West Rand.

The Gospel show will kick off at 2pm with a great line-up of entertainment.

“The well known Afrikaans group, Heuning, will perform during this event as well as the gospel band, Behind the Gates,” says Joy.

Various local artists will also take to the stage during this event.

After the Gospel Show, the Carols by Candlelight will kick off. This will be at around 6pm and the event will continue until 8pm.

“We want to remind everyone who wants to attend the event to bring their own chairs and candles,” says Joy.

As always with these events, a local charity stands to benefit.

This year, the chosen charity is Hospice.

Entrance to this event is any form of donation whether it is unwanted toys, clothes, furniture or electrical appliances.
