Three men were caught and arrested after a botched house robbery at a house on Brigh Street in Westonaria on 3 November.
This comes after the men broke into the premises through the roof at approximately 1:41am
According to EPR Security General Manager Johan Krogh, they received a panic signal from the owner of the house and dispatched reaction officers to the scene.
Upon arrival, reaction officers were informed that strange noises were heard coming from the roof, and decided to investigate.
“Upon investigation, the officers found the suspects hiding in the roof of the house and arrested them,” says Krogh.
He adds that the suspects were handed over to the police for further investigation.
