Thuto Lehakwe Secondary School honours their achievers

Thoto Lehakwe Secondary School in Mohlakeng honoured their achievers in a special ceremony held at the school.

Thuto Lehakwe Secondary School paid tribute to matriculants who excelled in all spheres from academic achievements to extramural activities, sport, art and cultural activities during a special ceremony held at the school on 25 October.

Principal Duncan Ngobeni and his staff wore their academic regalia as a way to motivate the pupils to emulate them as they are about to enter into another phase of life outside of school eduacation.

“The birth of excellence begins with our understanding and belief that our aptitude is a choice,” says Nobeni.

“We all have unending potential. We are destined to reach greater heights but we need to have the right attitude and learn to persevere.”

Three of the school’s matriculants, Tshegofatso Monyane, Naledi Sekokodi and Chantel Morare stood out head and shoulders above the rest as they were called to the podium time and again to receive rewards for their achievements in several events.
