A 45-yearold man was attacked and robbed at gunpoint in his home in Mohlakeng on19 October at approximately 3am.
According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson Captain Appel Ernst, the man heard noises in his house and decided to investigate.
“The man was overpowered by two unknown men who threatened him with a firearm.
“They then forced him into the bedroom before searching the house for valuable items,” says Ernst.
She adds that no shots were fired during the incident and the man did not suffer any serious injuries.
Meanwhile, she adds that the police will appreciate any information from anyone that may have knowledge of the incident.
