A Randfontein man has been arrested for allegedly raping his eight-year-old daughter.
According to a source, the girl had told a teacher at her school about the incident.
The school then allegedly contacted the girl’s mother, who then took her for a medical examination, where it was apparently found that the girl had been violated.
The woman reported the case to police, after which the man was arrested.
The incident apparently took place during the day while the woman was at work.
A medical examination of the couple’s younger child, a toddler, was allegedly also done, and it was found that the child had not been raped.
The man is, according to the source, still behind bars and will appear in court soon.
