Two men, aged 24 and 40-years-old were injured during a shooting incident in Randfontein in the evening of 5 October.
It remains unclear as to how the incident transpired but it is understood that after hearing gunshots, passers-by rushed to the scene and called paramedics.
According to Netcare911 spokesperson Santie Steinmann, upon arrival at the scene, the 24-year-old man was found to be in a critical condition and a 40-year-old had sustained serious injuries following the shooting
“Currently I cannot divulge any more information as to what caused the incident.
“I can say that the matter is currently being investigated by the police,” says Steinmann.
