Suspect caught hiding underneath a car

Officers were doing their rounds in the area when they spotted a broken window in the business property.

A man was found hiding under a car after a botched business robbery in one of the business premises on Pollock Street on 15 September at approximately 9.15pm.

According to EPR Security operations manager Mac van Zyl, reaction officer Daniel Snyman and Paul Putter were doing the rounds in the area when they spotted a broken window in the business property

“They immediately called for back-up prior to searching the premises.

“While waiting for back up, they conducted a search on the premises and later spotted the suspect hiding under a vehicle.

“He was immediately arrested and handed over to the police,” says van Zyl.
