A 41-year-old man was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money during an armed robbery in Mohlakeng on 22 July.
At the time of the incident, the man was delivering goods at a shop in Terror Mathebula Street.
According to Randfontein SAPS spokesperson Captain Appel Ernst, while offloading goods, the man was approached by two unknown men and one of them was armed with a firearm.
“One of the suspects threatened the man at gunpoint while the other searched the delivery vehicle.
“He took an undisclosed amount of cash and the victim’s cellphone,” says Ernst.
They allegedly fled in their getaway vehicle, a silver VW Polo with no registration number.
